Unlockin Innovation:
Globally, innovation has become the single most important factor for long term business success. As China shifts from a manufacturing economy to a knowledge economy, business models are rapidly changing to highlight the importance of innovation for the success and survival of many foreign and Chinese businesses. The ability to innovate depends on the right organization structure and processes, the right application of technology, and perhaps most importantly the right people with the talent to be true innovators.
Several recent studies indicate moderate to low levels of innovator potential in Mainland China at both senior leadership and middle management levels, which can be attributed to various factors. However, rather than overly analyzing the reasons why, the current urgency is for businesses to come up with and implement the solutions that will unlock the innovator potential of their teams and leaders.
