The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to invite you to the European Chamber Annual Conference 2013: The Road to Reform, on 9th May 2013, 9am at the China World Summit Wing Beijing.
This one-day conference is expected to attract more than 300 attendees, including high-level officials from Chinese and EU governments, Chinese and EU executives from a diverse range of industries, as well as prominent domestic and international media.
The Road to Reform will showcase 25 leading China experts from politics, business and academia discussing the following critical issues that lie ahead for China's new leadership:

Agenda and Panels
The Road to Reform will commence at 9am, with four keynote speeches from: Markus Ederer EU Ambassador to China; Davide Cucino, President of the European Chamber; a Chinese Government Official (Minister or Vice Minister from Mofcom or DRC); and a representative figure of former/current EU-China relations.
The keynote speeches will be followed at 10am by four panel discussions with five to six experts and moderated by renowned journalists. Below is a brief description of the topics covered:
Panel 1 - Global Challenges: What do European and Chinese Companies have to offer?
Three European and three Chinese CEOS will discuss the global challenges ahead.
Panel 2 - China’s New Role in the World: Shaping it or blending in?

Mr. Mats Lindgren
Mr. Mats Lindgren
Dr. Mats Lindgren is the founder and CEO of Kairos Future, an international research and consulting firm, and is also head of its Futures Research Division. He holds a Masters Degree in engineering physics and human services as well as a doctoral degree in business administration, his specialty being strategic management in turbulent business environments.
Dr. Lindgren is the author of more than a dozen books on values, management, lifestyles and media. He is the coauthor of "Beyond Mobile" and "Scenario Planning - the link between future and strategy", both published by Palgrave Macmillan, and "The MeWe Generation", published by Bookhouse Publishing. His most recent book, "21st Century Management – Leadership and Innovation in the Thought Economy" was published in October 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan. In his book, he presents a new model for how to think about, and handle the complex world of business from a managerial and innovative perspective with tips and tools for motivating and engaging your organization, clients, and customers.
