On Wednesday, 24th April , the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China held its election at the EU Delegation in Beijing as part of the Annual General Meeting. As part of the meeting, the President, three Vice Presidents and the Treasurer of the European Chamber were elected.
Below is the list of candidates elected who will serve one-year terms on the Chamber’s Executive Committee.

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China cordially invites you to attend the Annual General Meeting 2013 (AGM) and to cast your vote at the election of the European Chamber leadership.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM), where the president, vice presidents and treasurer are elected, will take place on Wednesday, April 24th 2013 at Galileo Room of the European Union Delegation.
This is a chance, for you as member, to have a say and give your feedback on the activities of the European Chamber in 2012 and 2013.

In order to vote at the Annual General Meeting, you need to be:
1) A primary contact (the main contact between the European Chamber and your company);
2) A European member company with operations in China;
3) A Member of one of our working groups or forums;
4) In good standing with paid dues for the year 2013.
There are two ways of voting:
1) In person by secret ballot at the AGM. Please register your attendance at bj_events@europeanchamber.com.cn by Monday, 22nd April. You will receive an official confirmation from our events team after verifying your membership status.
Note: at the AGM the ballot papers will be only issued to those members who register in advance.
2) Assign a proxy to vote on your behalf from 15th April to 22nd April. Your proxy must be a colleague from your company or another member company eligible to vote (i.e.: meeting all the 4 requirements listed above). The number of proxies a member can be assigned is maximum 5.
If you would like to assign a proxy, please send an e-mail to Ms. Susan Su at euccc@europeanchamber.com.cn who will send you the proxy form.
Note: Your proxy (the person you nominate to vote on your behalf) must attend the Annual General Meeting and register with our event team at bj_events@europeanchamber.com.cn by Monday 22nd April 5pm.
All members (including those who do not meet the requirements for voting), with paid dues, have the right to participate in and be heard at the Annual General Meeting.
