It is our pleasure to invite you and your business partner to the 5th Chongqing Industrial Forum: Continuous Improvement on Plant Operation on 25th April 2013 at Inagiku, Glenview Hotel, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, to be conducted by Mr. Chuanxin Zhou, (Advisor for Safety & Operation, BP).
This Forum is jointly organized by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Southwest Chapter and the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China. We expect more than 40 participants from leading industrial companies in Chongqing to attend the Forum, which provides also an excellent networking opportunity and a platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas. The plant has capacity of acetic acid 350kpta and esters 80kpta, is in the earliest tier of joint ventures invested by foreign fund in inland China, and it is BP’s pioneer entity investment in China which provided joint venture cooperation experience and boosted confidence for BP’s later joint venture building in Shanghai, Zhuhai , etc. Currently, BP is working with Sinopec and Korea SK on building an integrated BDO-AA project in Chongqing with whole investment estimated RMB 7 billion.
About the Industrial Forum 关于工业论坛
The Chongqing Industrial Forum was established by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Southwest Chapter and the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China. It is a joint initiative for the mutual benefit of our organizations, our members and for the furthering of the international commercial and diplomatic agenda in Chongqing Municipality as a whole.
The initiative enjoys strong support from the Chongqing Municipal Government; the British Consulate-General, Chongqing, the Royal Danish Consulate General, Chongqing and the Consulate-General of the Republic of Hungary, Chongqing. The British and the European Chambers of Commerce are responsible for the coordination and management of the Forum, supported by its Chairman. Industry leaders are highly welcome to actively participate and to contribute their ideas for the direction and program of the Forum.
The 4th Industrial Forum was held on Dec. 11th, with the topic of "Challenges of a global production network and securing top quality standards". The speaker was Mr. Andreas Richter, Director of Operations of ABB Jiangjin Turbo System Co.,Ltd.
