About the presentation: Market Access in China’s Film and TV Industry
Market entry and related brand building activities have always been a challenging and a long-term effort in China. Developing a brand connected with media presence can be classified as an even more arduous exercise, in case what you need is TV presence and what you have is classified under the restricted definition of “foreign content”. Despite a regulatory environment misaligned with the vitality of the business sector, the media industry is blossoming in China in a unique way, offering important business and brand promotion opportunities to those that may find their path in such new and fast changing territory. Starting from the experience of a popular foreign animation brand moving its steps into the Chinese market, Ms. Li Yan will share valuable insights on market access in the Film and TV Industry, together with pragmatic examples on how to leverage on New Media, in order to achieve a more effective product penetration and brand visibility.
