Dear Working Group Member,
We are delighted to invite you to the next Banking & Securities Working Group meeting, to be held on Thursday, 27th June, starting at 8:30 AM at the European Chamber office.
At this meeting we will have the honor and pleasure to welcome the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), the UK Central Banking think tank. The delegation of the OMFIF that will meet the members of the Banking & Securities Working Group is composed by:
· Mr Gabriel Stein, Chief Economic Adviser, OMFIF
· Mr John Plender, Director, OMFIF; Senior Editorial Writer, OMFIF
· Mr John Adams, Advisory Board Member, OMFIF; Director, China Financial Services; Director, China HR
The delegation of the OMFIF will debrief members of their visiting to China and the discussions they are holding with the Chinese authorities regarding financial services and monetary policy. However they would also like to have this opportunity in order to get a better understanding of the challenges faced by foreign banks in China.
