As China continues to evolve into an economic powerhouse, global firms looking to do
business in China and Chinese firms expanding outside China need to understand the
legal and regulatory challenges in cross-border investments. This conference will explore
competition, investment and IPR protection and other issues in cross-border investments,
particularly outbound investments from PR China, as well as cartel enforcement and antitrust
litigation affecting businesses operating in China.
This first ever ABA stand-alone conference in China, in collaboration with Beijing Foreign
Studies University Law School and Renmin University Antitrust Forum, will bring together
practitioners, in-house counsel, academics and officials from enforcement agencies. It will
provide an opportunity for Chinese lawyers and businesses to connect with their colleagues/
partners/counterparts from the U.S. and other countries.
Highlights will include: Mock Trial, International Enforcers’ Roundtable, and Networking Events
