The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to a tailor-made Workshop on "Marketing Refresher 101". The training will be presented by ICSME and targets to be an interactive dialogue.
This 4 parts training aims to give you “A holistic approach to marketing function that should combine financial and sales aspects”. It unifies many field operation-real life tips with general marketing approach.
Part 1: MUSTS OF A PLAN
Like in many countries, companies uses some processes for marketing, but most of the times forget important factors of the plan out. As a result many marketing plans fall short and stay on air.
Part 2: ACTION PLAN
Many marketing plans are still starting with R&D or with product. Is it convenient to the changed consumers or Generation Connected ? Which step comes first ? Why many plans do not end up in real field operations?
This session will enable you to:
· Follow a roadmap
· Analyze main points of each Ps
· Create executable actions and tasks
· Importance of testing in marketing

Part 3: PRICING / QUALITY IMAGE MANAGEMENT
Pricing is the most important branding tool that comes before advertising. Many plans do not employ helpful techniques while establishing price policy. Who should involve? Types of prices ? How emotion affects the perception of pricing ?
This session will cover:
· Importance
· Ways to decide
· Is Chinese consumer different from other countries?
· A Chinese product case : Ruining a very good product by wrong pricing.
Part 4: MINI WORKSHOPS
This part will be the most interactive part. Three separate briefs (on marketing strategy selection, place-distribution and pricing policy ) will be given to the attendants. They will try to decide on correct objectives, strategies and actions for these aspects for real cases according to Chinese market.
