The European Chamber of commerce is glad to announce the upcoming Joint Working Group Meeting and Discussion (ICT, Automotive, Rail, Energy, Smart Grid, Renewable Energy and HR WGs) on the theme of ‘Engineer’s Competence Development for the China market’, which will take place on 13th September from 10am at the European Chamber Beijing office.
During the meeting, Mr. Ian Mercer, Director of International Operation of IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology), will give a presentations on What does Engineer’s Competence Mean for European Business in China. The presentation and discussion will focus and highlight the following questions: 1) What does engineers competences mean in an international standard? 2) How to evaluate engineers competences? 3) How to improve engineers continuing professional development(CPD)? 4) What CPD means for the success of European business in the China market?
After the presentation and group discussion, ICT working group will have 30 minutes internal discussion on latest Broadband China Strategy and the lobby strategy on chamber’s Europe Tour in September 2013.
