The Position Paper represents the views of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. Our Working Groups, Forums and more than 1,700 member companies have together compiled the latest assessments, concerns and recommendations of European Businesses operating in China.

At the European Business in China Position Paper 2013/2014 Launch in Chongqing, Mr. Ulrich O.Birch, Chairman of the European Chamber Southwest Chapter will present a summary of the key issues in this year’s Position Paper.

On October 15^th, 2013, the European Business in China Position Paper Launch was successfully held at the Harbour Plaza Hotel Chongqing. Mr. Ulrich O. Birch, Chairman of European Chamber’s Southwest chapter and Mr. Torbjorn Sternsjo, Chongqing representative in the Southwest chapter, presented insightful information and recommendations about the business climate in China and Chongqing to government officials, representatives from various industries, consulates and friends.
