We are pleased to invite you to join the next meeting of the Banking & Securities Working Group which will take place on Thursday, 16th January 2014, starting at 8:30AM.
At this meeting we will have the honour and pleasure to welcome Ms. Tracy H. Zhang, Partner, Tax, KPMG Advisory (China) Limited.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) is working at full speed on the Value-Added Tax (VAT) reform that will hit the banking and insurance industry in the next years. At this meeting, Ms. Tracy H. Zhang will analyze the likely impacts of the proposed VAT reform on the financial services sector in China and, based on feedback provided by the Ministry of Finance (MoF), she will also examine the issues that they will need to consider in the transition to VAT,.
