We are pleased to invite you to the next Energy & Utility Policy Working Group that will be held on Friday 27th October 2006 from 2- 4pm at the European Chamber, Beijing.
At our Breakfast Seminar on China Energy Laws and Policies that took place on 13th September, Mr. Wang Huajiang, Head of Energy Information and Policy Analysis Division
of the NDRC Energy Bureau, presented two recent NDRC publications on relevant Chinese laws, regulations and policy documents on the energy sector. As we probably all have
heard and read a lot about Chinaenergy policy developments, it would be interesting to share our thoughts and experiences during a roundtable discussion. On the other hand, as you all know we are in the process of organizing a Wind Energy Workshop. Your thoughts and suggestions for this event are of course welcome. Finally, now that the Position Paper has officially been launched, the time has come to set-up a concrete lobby action plan. We would appreciate if you all could give your
input for the meetings that need to be organised in the coming months. The tentative agenda of the meeting is:
- Roundtable exchange on China energy policy developments
- Organisation of the Wind Energy Workshop
- Discussion on the future lobby actions of the Working Group
We look forward to welcoming you at this meeting and would appreciate if you could indicate your attendance for this meeting before October 25th, 2006
