ABB Chongqing Transformer is the product of a joint venture in 1998 between the Swiss based multinational corporation ASEA Brown Boveri (ABB) and the Chongqing based Chongqing Transformer Co., Ltd.
It is ABB’s largest transformer factory in the world focused on the design and manufacture of power transformers, shunt reactors and HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), and is equipped with the most advanced manufacturing and testing equipment.
