The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to an exclusive seminar with Dr. Yukon Huang, Senior Associate in the Carnegie Asia Program, on China's Third Plenum and its Growth and Debt Prospects, on 2nd April at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang Hotel.
Many see China's surging debt indicators as signaling an imminent financial crisis. Others see the Third Plenum Decisions as leading to a more sustainable growth path. How does one reconcile these divergent views? Dr. Huang will argue that rising credit indicators and booming property prices are not necessarily worrisome. But if China does succeed in implementing the proposed reforms, growth will not necessarily become more balanced as many expect.
