Speakers:
Mr. Raymond Cheong has over 25 years of management and consulting experience in the financial services industry. He has significant business and technical expertise in corebanking, enterprise transformation, and business process reengineering and credit risk management and Mobile payment and Digital ecommerce. Among others, he worked on large-scale transformation projects, including branch operations, remittance & cash management, internet banking, mobile payment, mobile banking and global payment system, general ledger and reporting. A recent focus of his work was in CRM, multi-channel deployment, and core banking enabled change and Data Analytics. In his most recent project, Mr. Cheong managed the business blueprint development for a large Chinese commercial bank.
During his career in banking finance, Mr. Cheong has managed retail banking operations and application development for major global banks in Asia. He conceived and led significant consulting projects in the financial services industry. Mr. Cheong’s career in banking and consulting covers assignments in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and others.
Mr. Donald CHAN, started with Siemens Components (Infineon) Chipcards Business Unit in Singapore where he was heading of Application Support team for Asia Pacific region, in 1996. He joint STMicroelectronics in 1999 where he was given special assignment to setup the ST Smartcards Marketing team for Central Asia Pacific to base in Shanghai. After successfully created the smartcard team where sales turnover reaching millions of dollar, Donald took the challenges to lead the ST Incard Sales & Marketing team responsible for Asia Pacific region in 2005. In 2007, Donald took a new challenge as the Sales Manager of the ST Smartcards Division for Greater China region where he oversees all smartcards business for Greater China region.
With double digits sales revenue business growth and success track record on key projects management, by 2012, Donald was given a new assignment as Senior Manager for Secure Micro-controller product with special focus in China Banking and Mobile Payment market. With more than 18 years in the secure microcontroller (smartcards) security industry, Donald is actively involved in many projects in the Telecom, Banking, Identification/ePassport and NFC/RFID fields
