The European Chamber Southwest Chapter is pleased to convene members and friend to attend the Seminar on Macroeconomics in China which will be held October 27th in Chongqing at the Sofitel Forebase Chongqing.
On Monday 27th October Linan Liu of Deutsche Bank will be visiting Chongqing to give a presentation on Macroeconomics and the implications for organizations operating in China and the Southwest region specifically. The outline of the content is as follows:
1) General China Macroeconomic presentation:
The speech will cover a general China macroeconomic presentation. It will cover both the present situation and also give a future forecast. Particular attention will be given to manufacturing and financial sectors.
2) Focused Topics:
Further attention will be given to more specific topics to give greater insight for different industry sectors and roles within organizations:
- Financial Reforms – how they affect different sectors in industry
- Shanghai Free Trade Zone – how your organization can best utilize
- Social and Health Care reforms - implications for HR in Multinationals
- SOE reforms – relevance to Multinational companies

Linan Liu joined Deutsche Bank in 2009 and is a Director, Interest Rate Strategist for Greater China with primarily responsible for analyzing dynamics in the local currency fixed income markets, evaluating investment opportunities and making recommendation on asset allocation. Linan holds a B.A from Peking University, a MPhil in Economics from New York University and a Master's from Columbia University.
