China’s over dependence on its high input, high consumption and high emission manufacturing industry for economic growth has been identified as the key cause of excessive energy consumption and the worsening of environmental pollution. To address the issue, the Chinese government has specifically made it a top priority on their agenda to heavily promote power conservation and the efficient use of energy. This development has ushered in a new beginning for technologies used in manufacturing processes, and unveiled a huge untapped market for providers of innovative energy-saving solutions.
Driven by the authoritative Industry and Information Technology Ministry in alignment with government policy, the International Trade Fair for Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment (EnerCon China) organized by the China Industrial Energy Conservation and Clean Production Association (CIECCPA) and German trade fair veteran Koelnmesse is slated to be held from Nov 27-29 in China’s political heart of Beijing.
The event will center on " Energy Efficiency in Effect", aimed at promoting key technologies and industrial applications of energy-saving, cleaner production and carbon emission reduction equipment and products, providing strong support and incentives for industrial transformation and upgrading, and advocating sustainable economic development.
Expected to span 20,000 square meters, the trade fair’s anchor exhibitor and China’s only state-owned key enterprise devoted to energy saving, emission reduction and environmental protection, the China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group will be featured along with other leading domestic enterprises and Fortune 500 companies.
A comprehensive display comprising five feature zones covering integrated industrial energy-saving system service providers, applications of energy efficiency and energy cascading, big data and information monitoring, clean technology and pollution control as well as remanufacturing and recycling is poised to offer complete solutions for high energy consuming industry sectors.
To establish a communication and cooperation platform between businesses and the government and research and investment institutions, EnerCon China 2014 will also be complemented by a series of engaging activities including EnerCon China Summit & CIECCPA Annual Meeting 2014, exhibition contests, signing ceremonies, business-matching sessions, corporate presentations and product launches.
