The European Chamber of Commerce in China Shenyang Chapter and C2C Consulting & Training Pvt. Ltd., are pleased to invite you to join a full-day training concerning the topic “Time Management” on November 21st. The course will be held in Chinese language.
Overview
Getting the most out of a 24-hour day is a constant challenge in our busy world: a bottomless inbox, tons of email, millions of meetings, etc. Too much to do and not enough time to do it is a common problem many people face in the workforce. Although we can’t give you more hours in a day, we can teach you how to decide what do and when do to it.
The workshop is divided into 4 parts as follows:
Part 1: Getting Started
The key objective of this module is to understand what it takes to manage your time more effectively. It also helps the participants develop self-awareness and identify their areas of improvement. The module covers topics such as: The History of Time Management, Barriers to Successful Time Management, and Best Practices on Time Management.
Part 2: Discovering Time Management Tools: Group Work
The key objective of this module is to provide the participants with an opportunity to discover and learn more about some of the most popular time management frameworks. It also helps the participants to improve their productivity by deciding to do the right things and at the right time. In addition, they will learn effective techniques to overcome the main time bandits that divert your time and attention away from pursuing your most important goals.
Part 3: Your Personal Time Management Style
The key objective of this module is to build self-awareness by understanding the participants’ behavior. It will also help them understand the strengths and weakness of each time management style. In addition, it will help improve team performance by creating a better understanding for the different people, their work style and preferences.
Part 4: Saying No – Developing Assertiveness
The key objective of this module is to learn how to communicate assertively and appropriately in different situations. The participants will also practice assertiveness and learn to say no – hence keeping a close eye on your time planning. This module covers concepts such as communication styles, assertive, abusive and passive behavior.
Part 5: Work Transfer: Planning Your Next Week
The key objective of this module is to apply workshop learning to actual work environment. The participants will also understand how their time management habits impact their co-workers/your team. In this module, they will analyze how to improve day-to-day personal productivity by effective scheduling, careful delegation and the ability to deal with interruptions and by dealing successfully with the thieves such as meetings and written communication.
Part 6: What is next? Personal Action Planning
The key objective of this module is to help each participant to develop a personal action plan to increase his/her personal effectiveness and maximize his or her time. The personal action planning module helps them to ensure the transfer of learning on their job.

Facilitator’s Bio: Mr. James Tao
James is a senior facilitator that specializes in time management, leadership and business development. He was the Chief Trainer at ThyssenKrupp for 6 years developing and delivering leadership and soft skills workshop in the Asia Pacific region. Today, he is an accomplished facilitator helping individuals and organizations create an armada of leaders and managers.
James has over 26 years of practical experience in different business areas emanating from his work at various multinational and large domestic companies. He was the Investment Director at Folsun International for 6 years and was responsible for evaluating companies that Folsun would want to invest to and providing training services to the management team of the companies Folsun has invested in. Prior to Folsun, James was a Senior Manager at AC Nielsen for 5 years responsible for leading a team to develop customized solutions for consulting and training projects. He has helped AC Nielsen built a reputable image in China by establishing cooperation all over the country.
Prior to AC Nielsen, James was Vice President – China for Vintage Food and Beverage Company for 3 years responsible for heading a team to develop a sales strategy and to set up from scratch a nationwide distribution system. Within 3 years, he contributed to tripling the sales turnover of Vintage earning him a privilege to be sent for overseas training.
Prior to Vintage, James worked for Time City International as National Director for Business Development and during his tenure of 2 years at Time City, he had successfully opened 6 outlets in key cities nationwide.
The courses that courses has delivered "Leadership and Execution Skills“, “Time Management,“Cross -Functional Co-operation and Conflicts Management”, “Self Management and Stress Handling as a Manager"; “Highly Effective Selling Skills”, “Excellent Negotiation Skills”, and “Key Account Development Strategy”.

第 4 部分:学会说“不” – 建立自信
此模块的关键目标是学习如何在不同环境中恰当地、坚定自信地沟通。学员将练习如何坚定自信地表达意见,学会说“不”,从而严格遵循您的时间规划。此模块还包含一些概念,例如沟通风格、坚定自信的行为、侮辱行为、被动行为等。
第 5 部分:工作调动:规划您的下一周
此模块的关键目标是在实际工作环境中应用培训班学到的经验。学员也将感受到自己的时间管理习惯将对同事/团队产生何种影响。在此模块中,学员将分析如何通过高效安排日程,谨慎授权,处理干扰,以及成功处理会议和书面沟通等“时光大盗”,提升个人日常工作能力。
第 6 部分:接下来是什么?个人行动计划
此模块的关键目标是帮助每位学员制定个人行动计划,提高个人效率,尽量充分地利用时间。个人行动计划模块帮助学员将此次所学运用到工作中。
