The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to invite you to our morning seminar Chinese Outbound Investment: The Inside Story, on 11thDecember, 2014, in Beijing.
China’s outbound direct investment (ODI) reached a record high of USD 108 billion in 2013, representing a 22.8 per cent increase over the previous year, and is expected to surpass foreign direct investment (FDI) into the country in 2017. During the recent Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders Meeting, President Xi Jinping stated China’s intention to invest more than USD 1.25 trillion abroad over the next decade.
This seminar is a platform for experts, investors and recipients of Chinese ODI to discuss the evolution and future of ODI in China. It will provide strategic advice based on case studies and an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges for Chinese investors in Europe.
