Dear Working Group Member,

The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next AFB working group meeting. The meeting will be held on 10^th December at the European Chamber Shanghai and Beijing office via conference call facility.

The Agriculture, Food and Beverage Working Group is very delighted to have Mr. Gu ZhenHua, Deputy Director General, Shanghai Municipal Food and Drug Administration, to give members a presentation on the recent structure changes to the food authorities and food safety supervision in Shanghai. Mr. Gu will also touch upon the topics including “ Professional Consumers” “ How to strengthen the engagement between the industry and the authorities”.

Please be aware due to the time constraints, Mr. Gu’s speech will only be in Chinese( however the chamber will provide the English and Chinese PPT slides); we are encourage you to bring your own colleagues to do whispering interpretation provided there is a language barrier.
