With an increasing product range, production complexity increases and efficiency can suffer as a major downtime for manufacturers is the changeover process from one product to another.
There are well proven techniques which can be deployed to deliver the changes in a structured fashion and work on reducing each element of the change – commonly referred to as SMED or Rapid Changeover or Setup Time reduction.
You will learn:
