Benny Zhang is the Director for China Tax and Business Advisory Service in both Shanghai and Nanjing office. He has more than 12 years of experience in the firm for the China tax practice.
Benny has extensive experience in investment consultation for multi-national companies, including investment structure planning, support in joint venture negotiation, tax efficient cash repatriation, due diligence review on potential joint venture partner and contract and bylaws formulation, etc. He has also been engaged in various tax and business consultation projects to multi-national companies in various industries such as infrastructure, trading, and other general manufacturing, etc. Such projects include corporate tax planning & consultation, tax due diligence review, assistance in negotiation for preferential tax rulings, assistance in business strategy formulation and review, etc.
Paul Tang is a Director in PwC Shanghai’s Transfer Pricing Services practice. He has over 11 years of transfer pricing experience. Paul has worked in PwC Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Toronto office.
As one of our national transfer pricing core members, Paul assisted clients in successfully concluding China's first Mutual Agreement Procedure (“MAP”) with Japan, two of China's first bilateral advance pricing arrangements (“APAs”) with Europe (Denmark), and China’s second BAPA with US.
Raul Martin Lucena is Tax Director on a two year secondment in the Shanghai office at the Spanish Desk.
Raul has a Degree in Economics, a Master in Taxation and a Master in Finance. Starting his career with PwC Spain in 1994, he has wide experience in providing tax advice to domestic and multinational companies. During the last ten years has been fully dedicated to Transfer Pricing and is part of the Spanish Transfer Pricing Group.
Raul therefore has a wide experience in transfer pricing, including corporate restructuring, planning studies related to the implementation of different business models in various industries, PE issues and Dispute Resolution.
In Spain, Raul is also a lecturer since 1999 in the Master of Taxation in ESADE.
