The South China Chapter Board Election where South China Chapter Representative & South China Chapter Chair of the Board (1) and South China Chapter Board positions (6) are elected, will take place on April 2nd, 5pm and Garden Hotel.

This is a chance, for you as member, to have a say and give your feedback on the activities of the European Chamber in 2015.Your vote is important!
Who can vote at the elections?
If you meet all the following 4 criteria, you can vote and run for election:
1) To be a Designated Representative (the main contact between the European Chamber and your company);
2) A European member with operations in China;
3) A Member of one of our working groups or forums;
4) With paid dues for the year 2015 (please make sure that the Chamber has received and confirmed your membership payment by 2014.
Who can attend the Board Election Meeting?
All members (including those who do not meet the requirements for voting and standing for election), with paid dues, have the right to participate. However only members who meet the above mentioned 4 criteria can vote or run for election.
How can I vote?
There are two ways of voting:
1) In person by secret ballot at the elections venue. Please note that even if you have voting rights confirmed by the Secretariat of the Chamber, you must have registered for the Board Elections in order to exercise this vote by April 1st, COB.
2) Assign a proxy to vote on your behalf by April 1st, COB. Please fill in the Proxy Form and send a scanned copy to Ms. Francine Hadjisotiriou at fhadjisotiriou@europeanchamber.com.cn or by fax to 0755-86329785 or in person at the Chamber office in Rm 308, 3/F Chinese Overseas Scholars Venture Bld, South District, Shenzhen Hi-tech Industry Park
The proxy must be a colleague from your own legal entity. This requirement has only one exception for the Individual member, who may give his/her proxy to another individual member/corporate member in South China Chapter.
Proxies received after the deadline and in a format different from those listed above won’t be accepted

The election is free for 1 person per company. More people coming will be charged at 350RMB per person.
Participants can choose to attend both the Working Group Chair Election and Board Election, or attend only the Board Election.
