A PMP®, a GPM-b® and PMI’s North China PMO SIG Coordinator, Mr. Hernandez got his Industrial Engineering master degree at the University of Miami. He has over 15 years of experience in managing multimillion US$ projects in USA, Latin America, Europe and Asia. His vast experience in international projects, have given him a clear understanding of the challenges of managing multi-language and multi-cultural virtual teams. He uses this experience to relate the concepts to the participants in a way that it can be clearly understood by them. In the last few years he has put his experience into service by developing and conducting consulting engagements, trainings and seminars in Asia. Having conducted project management consulting engagements in different industries and sectors (private and public), Banking, Manufacturing, F&B, Automotive, Telecommunications, Construction, and IT, he understand the needs of different organizations and the gaps they have in their project management methodologies. His exposure to different industries in China, give him and his trainings a practical approach to solve day to day problems when managing projects in China. Mr. Hernandez is an asset to the company. With excellent presentation and training skills, that he developed in his tenure as a Boston University Project Management Instructor, and an above average ability to interact at different levels of seniority, he is held in high regard by both peers and management. The team and self leadership qualities he has acquired over the years make him a great mentor and coach. Mr. Hernandez was also appointed in 2011 as Training Expert in China for the European Union SME Centre Program where he helped start the program for the first 18 months of development in China. Aspects of Mr. Hernandez’s work have been published in several magazines and journals, including PMI’s Forum Network and some Chinese ones like “Tsinghua Enterprise Business School” and “Network HR” and on CCTV.
