The Annual General Meeting (AGM), where the President (1), Vice Presidents (3) and Treasurer (1) are elected, will take place on 23rd April at 4:30pm at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing, 50 Liangmaqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing , China.

This is a chance, for you as member, to have a say and give your feedback on the activities of the European Chamber in 2014 and 2015. Your vote is important!
Who can vote?
You can vote if you:
1) are a designated representative (the main contact between the European Chamber and your company);
2) are a European member with operations in China;
3) are a member of one of our working groups or forums; and
4) have paid dues for the year 2015 (please make sure that the Chamber has received and confirmed your membership payment by 22 April).
Who can attend the board election meeting?
All members (including those who do not meet the requirements for voting and standing for election),with paid dues, have the right to participate. However, only members who meet the abovementioned 4 criteria can vote.
How can I vote?
There are two ways of voting:
1) In person by secret ballot at the election venue. Please note that even if you have voting rights confirmed by the Secretariat of the Chamber, you must have registered for the AGM by 4pm on 22 April in order to exercise this vote.
2) Assign a proxy to vote on your behalf by 4pm on 22 April. Please fill in the proxy form and send a scanned copy to Mr. Graeme Wallaceat gwallace@europeanchamber.com.cn, by fax to 010 64622067 or in person at the Chamber office located at Office C412, Beijing Lufthansa Center, 50 Liangmaqiao Road, Beijing.
The proxy must be a colleague from your own legal entity and must be present to vote. This requirement has only two exceptions:
1) Primary members located outside Beijing without any additional membership in Beijing;
2) Individual members.
In such cases another designated representative from a member company in Beijing with voting rights may serve as a proxy.
Proxies received after the deadline and in a format different from those listed above will not be accepted.
