In her presentation, she will provide an overview of the anti-trust law, give an introduction of enforcement actions against auto companies in 2014, analyse the legal basis for such enforcement, and give some suggestions on how to minimise risks for anti-trust violation.
For our second presentation, we have invited a PwC Consulting Partner, Gordon Xie, shares the results of a new CEO survey of the vehicle industry which depicts the impact of the recent trends in anti-trust regulations on the future of the vehicle industry. Gordon will share the results of a new CEO survey of the vehicle industry which depicts the impact of the recent trends in anti-trust regulations on the future of the vehicle industry.
For the second half of our event, we have arranged a panel discussion as we continue to talk about the anti-trust regulations and its implications on the automotive industry. During this session, if members of our audience would like to join the conversation, you are free to raise your hand.
For several years, sporadic rumors have been circulating within the China automotive industry that the government will step up enforcement of a 2008 Anti-trust law. Over the past year, these rumors have materialized as various Chinese regulatory bodies have begun investigating automotive and parts companies for alleged anti-trust and improper market behaviors. Therefore, automotive companies should better prepare themselves to understand anti-trust law in order to avoid and respond to such investigations.
The European Chamber of Commerce (EUCCC), German Chamber of Commerce (AHK), and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) proudly co-host this special event which takes a deep dive on understanding the Anti-trust law, its implications, and how it affects the future of the automotive industry in China.
