The global financial landscape has been constantly changing. Since the launch of RMB trade pilot scheme in 2009, RMB has gone through a long way in a short time. According to SWIFT, RMB has become the fifth most-used currency for global payments by 2015. Despite the RMB’s increasingly international status, many businesses that trade with China have yet to embrace the currency. The recent increasing volatility in EUR exchange rate has impact on many European corporate and expat in China. It’s a good timing now for us to re-exam this topic.

At AZ Investment Stefano is responsible for the management of a Chinese liquidity fund and the China research team. Prior to joining the AZ Investment team, Stefano worked for seven years in the Fixed Income Division of Lehman Brothers in New York. Stefano holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the China Europe International Business School.
