The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to a seminar on Transfer Pricing. Mr. Mauro Gnerre will provide relevant concepts and insights for successfully dealing with transfer pricing in China, sharing his international legal experiences, analyzing the main transfer pricing risk factors and risk assessment indicators, introducing useful transfer pricing methods and finally highlighting case studies in managing the transfer-pricing avoidance risks.
Professor Shen Wei, an accomplished researcher at Jiaotong University, will offer an update and projected perspective on bilateral treaties and taxation agreements, that goes on with the most debated topic in China like Corporate governance and compliance, with a focus on both the current and expected evolution of the regulatory framework.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.

Artemio Mauro Gnerre, Accountant and Auditor, NMI consulting group
Dr. Mauro Gnerre is a 36-year-old multidisciplinary experienced accountant. He is Italian and his areas of interest and specialization are Tax Planning, Risk Management, Financial Logistic, M&A, Finance, Real Estate, Yield & Revenue Management, Energy and Multi-Utility.
In 2004 he graduated in Economics at Bologna University, where in 2010 he accomplished a Master's degree in Tax and Legal, Finance. In 2010, he received the Chartered Accountant and Auditor professional qualification. From 2011, he is member of the “National council of certified accountants” and of the “National register of auditors”. Since 2010 he has been working as accountant for LexJus Sinacta, an Italian tax and legal advisory company. Within his fields of expertise he has been undertaking research projects, periodical conferences and workshops. He fluently speaks Italian, English and Spanish as his international experiences range from his former position at American Express in London in charge of the project "Control of costing in Business Travel", to seminars in several Colombian business schools.

Professor Shen is the Global Professor of Law, New York University School of Law, and has been included in Marquis Who’s Who (2011 onwards). He is an arbitrator with Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, and Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration. He is an Honorary Fellow of Asian Institute of International Financial Law, University of Hong Kong. He has been a Guest Professor at Copenhagen Business School (Fall 2012), a Senior Research Fellow at Max-Planck Institute of International and Comparative Law (Hamburg) (Summer 2013), a Senior Research Scholar at Yale Law School (2013-2014), a visiting professor at Taiwan Chiao Tung University (Fall 2014), a visiting professor at Tel Aviv University (Spring 2015). He taught at Duke Law School’s summer program as well as in the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong.
