The European Business in China – Position Paper is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. The 15th edition of the Position Paper offers Chinese policy-makers over 800 recommendations that draw directly from the knowledge and expertise of the European Chamber’s 1,800 member companies.
The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the launch of the European Business in China – Position Paper 2015/2016. The launch event will be held at 4:30pm on Tuesday, 8th September, 2015, at Le Royal Meridien Hotel.
The European Business in China – Position Paper (Position Paper) is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. The15th edition of the Position Paper offers Chinese policy-makers over 800 recommendations that draw directly from the knowledge and expertise of the European Chamber’s 1,800 member companies.
This year’s Position Paper includes:
- Our Third Plenum ‘reality check’: a thorough analysison how the implementation of the Third Plenum’s Decision’s reforms—or the lack thereof—has been affecting the Chinese business environment: Last year’s paper analysed the Decision, now we are taking stock.
- A ‘wish list’ for Brussels: detailed recommendations on what European business invested in China would like to see included in the ongoing negotiations for an EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment.
- A ‘new toolbox’: European business’ analysis on the necessary reforms the Chinese Government needs to undertake to rebalance its economy.
- The concerns of the European Chamber’s 27 vertical and 10 horizontal workings groups about their respective sector’s operating environment.
