Luxottica factory tour

The European Chamber South China Chapter is organizing the factory tour at Luxottica Tristar (Dongguan) Optical Co., Ltd. on 9th March (Thursday). Exceptionally, this event will be limited to 15 people, all General Managers of manufacturing companies, all members, and operating in Guangdong.

On 8th March, 2017, the Shanghai Chapter of the European Chamber of Commerce in China will release a major study on the China Manufacturing 2025 (CM2025) industrial policy initiative that officially commenced in 2015. The report provides a detailed examination of the focus and goals of the initiative for upgrading China’s industrial base and moving to the forefront in ten industries that the Chinese authorities have identified as future drivers of the economy. It also evaluates the initiative’s ramifications for European business, both in China, Europe and third-country markets.

Logistics Working Group 2017 Kick-off Meeting

2016 was an intense year for policymaking and reform in many logistics-related sectors, including shipping industry, express delivery, road transport and customs affairs. 2017 is critical as we will see the implementation of the new policies and a deepening of the reform. The Logistics Working Group is going to organise its first working group meeting in 2017 to discuss the challenges we will face in the years to come and our lobby strategy and focus in 2017.
