Finance & Taxation Working Group Meeting and Election

The European Chamber is delighted to invite you attend the first F&T working group kick-off meeting in 2019. The meeting will take place on Monday 15 April from 2-4 PM in the Shanghai, Beijing, and South China offices via videoconference facility. In this meeting, we will hear a presentation on Chinese tax reform and tax updates from Mr. Chengfei Yuan, Tax Director of PwC China; elect the working group Chairs and Vice Chairs; and discuss the Position Paper and the priorities of the F&T working group in 2019.

Energy Working Group Meeting

The Energy Working Group is pleased to invite you to its next working group meeting, taking place on Friday 12 April, 14:00-16:00 in both Beijing and Shanghai office via videoconference facility.



The cooperation between China and Germany in energy sector dated back in 2006. In early 2013, it was agreed by both governments to strengthen the cooperation in sustainable energy supply as a secure, affordable and environment friendly energy supply is the interest for both countries. The German-China Energy Partnership was established to implement the objectives set by both governments. To help our members explore the possible opportunity to participate in the partnership, we are delighted to invite Ms. Qiongying Ma, the Project Manager of the German-China Energy Partnership, to give us an introduction to the project and discuss the potential cooperation opportunities with the business community.

With this occasion, we will also discuss the 2019 Energy Working Group priorities, discuss its Position Paper outline, and host this year’s Chair elections.
