FinTech can bring numerous benefits to both consumers and businesses. . In this context, China has been at the forefront of the industry’s growth. China is the largest fintech market in the world, in 2018 it accounted for 46% of all fintech investments globally. China had the right conditions to promote this incredible development: traditional banking systems were not well-developed and the regulatory environment was far less constraining towards fintech businesses. These two factors combined boosted the industry in China.
