She will also advise members on the security and operational requirements for MLPS on which they will be assessed and how foreign companies can ensure internal security and compliance. We will also hold 2021-2022 WG Chair Elections. The Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group, which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the WG Position Paper, communicating key messages to Chinese and European government authorities and steering Working Group meetings.

The European Business in China – Position Paper (Position Paper) is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. It delivers to the Chinese Government over 800 detailed recommendations for improving the business environment, spread across 34 industry sectors and horizontal issues. The Position Paper details how persistent issues, such as limited market access and a complex regulatory environment, prevent European businesses from contributing fully to China’s sustainable development.
