Initiated by the German Chamber of Commerce Shanghai and Bertelsmann Stiftung with support from the German Consulate General in Shanghai, an ambitious agenda was set up, helping to show and shape the depth of German social engagement in China.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the EU-China IP Dialogue Mechanism, the European Chamber is recognising China’s most IP-friendly regions, with an IP Awards Ceremony and Conference on IPR, Innovation and Development.

The conference will touch on how companies innovate in practice, and will explore what they are doing to protect their IPR. It will also examine the various IPR protection mechanisms that are already in place and the challenges and opportunities that have arisen as a result of recent reforms to IPR legislation in China.
