International Women's Day originates from the feminist movements that took place in Europe and the Americas in the early 20th century and has been celebrated for over 100 years, through which women's rights in the workplace and life have been increasingly emphasized. According to the measures, data handlers meeting the pre-specified thresholds have to apply for a cross-border data security assessment before transferring their data across borders, and existing transfers will have to become fully compliant by 1st March, 2023.
