[Chinese Language Session Only] Export Control Law (Second Draft)

On 3rd July, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) initiated the public consultation on the Export Control Law (Second Draft), which represents the beginning of a new regulatory regime in China. What is the difference between the first draft and the second one? What does it mean to European business in China? How could we navigate the current legislative and administrative framework?

The Future of Data Centres in China: A Changing Environment.

The COVID-19 crisis has given a boost to the use of online platforms such as Zoom, online gaming and other online expressions which has underpinned tendencies that were already in place. This has further consolidated the importance of data centres in the current times. The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to a Joint Working Group meeting held between the Construction and ICT working groups on the topic of the future of Data Centres and the new developments under the New Infrastructure Plan, giving a Market, Policy and Construction Analysis.

Course Objectives 课程目标

There is no doubt that COVID-19 has brought on many challenges and uncertainty, this holds true as business regulations need continuously adapt to constant changes in government policies leaving many wondering how to best navigate this new environment. This course is designed to assist executives to better understand how the Chinese government works, gain an overview of the policy-making process, and analyze the impact of the macro regulatory environment on enterprises operating in China. During this course the trainer will also discuss the trends in policy development and how to build effective communication channels with key stakeholders from the Chinese government in order for businesses to advocate more effectively and to establish a more positive corporate image and achieve a win-win cooperation with the Chinese government.
