The European Chamber’s Standards and Conformity Assessment Working Group and the Carbon Market Sub-Working Group welcome representatives from the China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS) to share the latest dual-carbon standardization work on Thursday 1st December afternoon. On 23rd February, the European Commission published a proposal for a Directive on Sustainable Corporate Governance. The European Chamber has invited Ms Orsolya Csorba, Counsellor for Competition, Justice and Consumer Policy at the Delegation of the European Union to China to provide a debriefing on the Commission’s proposal. Ms Csorba will provide the debriefing onsite in Beijing on Thursday, 31st March from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Members wishing to attend online will be provided a Zoom link.

There has been an incredible rise in remote work due to COVID-19 which has conversely cause a rise in investments in cyber security by companies that are increasingly worried about cyber risks that the increased use of digital tools entails. However, despite these investments, companies need to adopt an end-to-end Supply Chain strategy.
Companies need to have a holistic view of the supply chain and promote a better integration within it.
Our two experts will be discussing the best strategies companies need to adopt to better tackle the increasing challenges posed by cyber risks in the supply chain.
