IPR Working Group Meeting - 2016/17 Position Paper Kick-Off and Chair Elections: Call For Candidates!

The IPR Working Group meeting is scheduled on Monday 11th April in Beijing, Shanghai & South China where we will hold the 2016-2017 IPR Working Group Chairs elections. Next to that, we will also be kicking off the 2016/2017 IPR Position Paper discussion.

This meeting, which is organized in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce’s IP Committee, will focus on the latest revisions of the Patent law draft amendment. The IPR Working Group will be able to discuss the comments submitted for SCLAO’s <Draft Amendment of PRC Patent Law>, compare them with those of AmCham Shanghai’s IP Committee and discuss a common approach for the year to come.

This meeting will give us the opportunity to explore commonalities between the issues faced by both working groups, exchange insights and provide a platform to discuss lobby issues related to IP in China’s Pharma industry.

The meeting will focus on:
- IPR and its relevant adaption in policy making
- Drug exclusivity in CFDA reform
