We would love to hear your feedback, and it just takes a minute.
Intuitively we know that creating diverse ideas requires diverse people. Over the last decade, MNC’s have embraced this idea, with chief diversity officers reporting directly to board members. In many cases, regional and global CEO’s even take responsibility for directly overseeing diversity programmes.
How many companies who excel in this field in other parts of the world are implementing these lessons locally in China, though? We repeatedly hear of top management being localised in China, with local ideas being merged with multinational operational structures, but is this merely scratching the surface? Are companies considering the issue from a broader perspective, for example by taking diversity in age and sexual orientation into consideration, as well diversity of experience, global mindset and cultural fluency?
The EU Chamber is delighted to invite you to our first People Matters flagship event of 2016. The event will open with a keynote speech delivered by Janina Kugel, Chief Human Resources Officer and Member of the Board, Siemens, and will feature panelists at China CEO and HR VP level.
