Event Description
As China's manufacturing sector looks into more environmentally-friendly, cost effective and energy-efficient solutions as a result of the transformation from "the world's factory" to a manufacturing power, boosted by the Made in China policy, long-term strategy and clear strategic priorities are important for businesses eyeing long-term quality growth like Henkel.
China is positioning to become the largest car market in the world, with a rapidly expanding domestic production base. The country is also one of the major producers of sports equipment and electronic products. In these and many other industries, adhesives are being used more and more as they make the products lighter and enhance their performance while helping to make production processes more sustainable.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome you to a Factory Visit to Henkel's Adhesive Dragon Plant in Shanghai Chemicals Industry Park (SCIP). During the visit, Mr Edward Gao, Head of Henkel Adhesives Operation in Greater China and Mr Xu Qinghua, Site Manager, will take you around the Dragon plan and will speak about smart manufacturing.
