Natural selection is alive and well in the corporate community. However, unlike species, businesses retain a large degree of autonomy over their future.
Businesses operate in an increasingly complex world: Business environments are more diverse, dynamic, and interconnected than ever. Yet many companies still pursue classic approaches to strategy that were designed for past times, emphasizing analysis and planning focused on short-term performance rather than long-term robustness.
For many organizations, the answer to survival is in innovation, digital transformation. However, mere replacement of technology is not the solution. Digital Transformation also involves process and people management, and people often represent the strongest barrier to the adoption of technology.
Unlike the dinosaurs, a business’ extinction is determined by its set of choices. What a business does today will decide whether it lives or dies tomorrow.
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to welcome you to the 2019 China Investment Conference to hear from an impressive line-up of industry leaders who will engage in a stimulating blend of keynote addresses and panel discussions to discuss how they build and maintain their capacity to innovate and thrive.
