Jonathan Chapon is French and has been living in China for 8 years after graduating in marketing and management from EGC business schools in France.
After studying mandarin for a few months in the northeast China Jonathan chose to join Abacare in 2009.
Abacare is a group of international brokerage companies specialized in medical, life and business insurances. Abacare operates for nearly 20 years, throughout 6 offices in 4 countries: China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines.
Over the last 7 years Jonathan took several roles within Abacare : Business Development Executive, Business Development Director and now Client Service Director.
Currently Jonathan and his team advise large international companies regarding employee benefits programs for foreign and local workers.
Jonathan has in depth knowledge of medical and life insurance schemes for individuals and corporates in China.
Ms. Miriam Wickertsheim

Ms. Miriam Wickertsheim holds a double degree in Asia Studies and Economics from Germany and Tsinghua University. She has spent more than a decade living and working in China. She is a frequent speaker at various prestigious organizations here in China such as the German or European Chamber of Commerce, the VDMA or DUSA and speaks German, English and Chinese. Miriam is the General Manager of Direct HR Group - an HR service provider across Recruitment, Assessment and Training&Development Solutions.

Pierre is graduated in law with several years of working experience in international contexts.
He gained a strong knowledge of Chinese marketplace focusing on business law in China and HR activities.

Ms. Jeanette Yu
Jeanette Yu is Partner and head of Employment & Pensions Practice Area Group of CMS, China. She has more than 20 years’ experience in providing advice for international companies on labour law issues and compliance management. Her extensive track record comprises recruitment and dismissal of employees, formulating employee handbooks and implementing its policies, work permits and visa issues of expatriates, international secondment, data privacy, non-competition, social security, trade union and labour disputes. She has also been involved in significant projects of business transactions and restructuring, advising clients on employee transfer, relocation and lay-off of employees as well as negotiation of employment contracts and separation agreements.
Since 2017, Jeanette has been acting as the National Chair/Vice Chair of HR Working Group of European Chamber of Commerce in China. This year Jeanette was elected as the National Chair of HR Working Group of European Chamber of Commerce in China.
Starting from 2017, Jeanette acted as the Vice Chair of HR Working Group of European Chamber of Commerce in China, and the Chair in 2019. Jeanette is also a member of Shanghai Law Society Labour and Social Security Law Research Branch.
