Due to the rapid global spreading of the pandemic, there’s a shortage of Medical stuff and the breaking of the supply chain in many countries. The Civil Aviation Administration of China has timely released a “green channel”, an expressway for airlines to transport emergency goods, shortening the processing time of the document checks and optimizing the workflow of the reviews and approvals of the international cargo flight plans.
Meanwhile, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council of China have strengthened on a press conference the strategy of increasing the air cargo capacity and enhance the international competitiveness of the logistics industry around the world. The 13th five year plan, which is the plan about constructing more airports, encouraging logistic companies to develop air cargo service, bringing up the entire fleet of air cargo transportation; accelerating the construction of airport infrastructure; combining general aviation and carriage aviation, reinforcing multimodal transportation.
It is likely that air cargo development brings dynamics to the severely impacted aviation industry. However, whether the foreign aviation enterprises could catch up the opportunity to reduce the losses and benefit from the new cargo business in the long run? We are pleased to invite the experts and the aviation industry practitioners to share their views and exchange ideas on this new trend of the aviation industry in China
