The European Chamber Logistics Working Group is pleased to invite you to a working group meeting with Ms Cinzia Pasquale, founder of 4SUCCESS2EU, and Mr Alexio Picco, managing director of Circle Group, to discuss on the EU's response to COVID-19 in sustainable, green and inclusive connectivity.

The end of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 will inevitably lead to a highly compromised economic framework which will require effective creation via technological input and new expertise of disruptive professional skills in the logistics sector. The impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the global supply chain will be immense and unprecedented.  A shift towards a transport and logistic systems with ‘Resilience, Responsiveness and Reconfigurability (the 3R)’ is necessary.

Cinzia Pasquale is a lobbyist and consultant for European affairs. She is also a facilitator for stakeholders and Consortia on European Union Funds. Ms Pasquale is the founder of 4SUCCESS2EU which represents a Chinese railway freight operator, active in Belt and Road Initiative since 2014. 4SUCCESS2EU is a member of the Chamber and specialised in industrial relations at the governmental level, including the participation in Task Force China-voluntary consultancy group which supports the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.

Prior to establishing 4SUCCESS2EU, Cinzia worked for the EU in different positions. Her experiences include proposal writer on EU Directs Funds, Visiting Professor on EU Institutions, EU Policies, EU Fundings. Belt and Road Initiative insider for Rail Freight Transport and Logistics.

Alexio Picco is one of the founding partners of Circle Group, 2012. Now, he is the Managing Directors and Member of the Board at Circle Group, and Member of the Board at Info.era and Progetto Adele. He is also currently the Director of the Connecting EU Business Unit, which supports and develops the business of public bodies and private companies through EU Branding and the search for funding opportunities. Alexio has 24 years’ experience working has 21 years’ experience in creating, building and leading major initiatives within complex public and private organizations with a track record of successful cross-functional business development processes and large scale international consortia including EU and local institutions, EU/national/local policy-makers, industry players and a large variety of other stakeholders including non-profit groups. He also possesses 13 years’ experience in supporting the European Commission in the evaluation of innovative projects, assessing their impacts in respect of the EU policies specifically in the domain of urban mobility and public transport.
