Dear Working Group Members,
The Human Resources and Construction Working Groups are pleased to invite you to the meeting “The Office of Tomorrow: How Remote Work Shapes Design and the Workspace as We Know It”, which is taking place on Friday, 16th October, 15:30-17:00 (China time), both online (via Zoom) and on-site at the European Chamber’s Beijing premises and at IWG's Spaces Infinitus office in Shanghai.
COVID-19 has forced millions of employees into homeworking, accelerating pre-pandemic trends away from physical locations where work happens and toward tech-enabled processes for productivity growth. As organizations and communities around the world adjust to new ways of working, what role should offices play in the future? Which space designs could accommodate future collaboration needs, and how will teams engage with post-pandemic work environments?
At this meeting, Kelvin Wang, Head of Sales at IWG China and Massimo Bagnasco, Managing Partner of Progetto CMR Beijing (bios attached) will delve into these shifts and will consider how changing working practices can shape the office of tomorrow in bold and strategic ways.
Agenda
- 15:30-15:35 Opening Remarks and Introduction by Rosanna Terminio, Vice Chair, Human Resources Working Group
- 15:35-16:30 Presentations by Kelvin Wang, Head of Sales, IWG China and by Massimo Bagnasco, Managing Partner, Progetto CMR Beijing
