The European Chamber Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Working Group and the Cybersecurity Sub-working Group is pleased to invite our members to our next working group meeting, where we will be sharing for the first time details of the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) from a telecommunications perspective and discuss on the advocacy plans for 2021, the content for our 2021/2022 Position Paper, and relevant topic updates.
The Position Papers for each working group represent the review of the current regulatory updates and market entry restrictions for each sector. It reflects the advocacy foci for each WG for the year. The Position Papers serve as the written testament for the European Chamber when interacting with the Chinese and European counterparts, and each year, it relies on the heavy contribution of member companies. To propose new key recommendations at the ICT and Cybersecurity Position Papers, we recommend members to submit their may key recommendation and a short analysis by Tuesday 23 February, COB.

- 09:15-09:20 Welcome Remarks
- 09:20-10:00 Presentation on the Commitments of the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) on Value-Added Telecommunications Services (VATS) by Ms. Caroline Chen, Vice-chair of the ICT WG
- 10:00-10:45 Discussion on Position Paper 2021-2022 for ICT and Cybersecurity WGs and delegation of lead-pens.
