Moving towards a more sustainable green city by combating climate change will require unprecedented levels of multilateral cooperation. In a social system, the circular economy model to maximum the opportunity of resource/financing-efficient, cost reductions, and sustainable lifestyle is the ultimate goal in the whole chain, from policy support, to investment and project delivery; from wholesale market to end market; from manufacturing sectors to service industries.
In this regard, the Construction working group, Research and Development (R&D) working group, and Petrochemical, chemicals & refining working group (PCR) are jointly having one discussion meeting concerning “Sustainable Green City: What Does It Take to Get to Net Zero” on 12nd Oct, 10:00am-11:40am. The meeting will be onsite in Shanghai and online for Beijing members.

Mr. Mario Huang
Mario Huang has around 20 years of experience in advising Italian companies in their investment and
financing structures in China, including greenfield investments, jv projects, M&A and international trade.
By representing the major Italian Bank with operational presence in China, he has been assisting over
50% of Italian FDI towards China in the past years. Starting from recent years, he is getting involved in
assisting some of major Chinese corporations in investments into Italy.
A part from his professional position in the Bank, Mario Huang is also active member of the Italian
community and since 2020 he joined as Board member of Italy-China Institute. In connection to
promoting Italian investments towards China, Mario Huang keeps dialogue with different Chinese local
governments and economic zone, by bridging between Italian existing and potential investors and
Chinese local investment promotion burau. Mario Huang has been invited and joined various associations
by contributing to strengthen the links among overseas Chinese groups and specific areas of interest in
China.

Mr. Jiangtao, is advocacy & sustainability manager at Covestro, with 15+ years of working experience in policy analysis, regulation affairs, stakeholder management and sustainability issue management at building / construction industry and chemical/material industry. He has an education background of engineering (B.E & M.E from Tongji University) and law (LL.B – Law from East China University of Political Science & Law). He is committee member of China standardization committee for plastics carbon neutral and recycling WG (SAC/TC15 WG2), plastic products recycling WG (SAC/TC48 WG2), ISO China WG for chain of custody and mass balance (ISO / TC 308).

Christian is graduated Dipl.-Ing (FH) Civil Engineer.
He worked over 10 years in China in different construction related positions. In 2010 he started his China experience as supervision engineer on the new built Shanghai – Kunming High speed passenger railway project. After completion of the project, he changed as project manager into China’s private construction industry and supported investors during their project realisation. Since 2022 Christian is working for Kaiser Construction after he worked for other construction companies in Qingdao, Shenyang, and Guangzhou.
Now, he is involved in BD & Marketing for Kaiser, but do not only focus on Wuxi Branch. In addition this he supports Kaiser Projects with technical expertise and take part construction project management.

Dr. Xu Yibo, partner of Chinese "Vertical Forest" and "Forest City", national first-class certified architect, Chinese partner and general manager of Stefano Boeri Architetti, Guest Lecturer of China Academy of Art. Decades of green design in Europe and China Practical experience, once worked for Cino Zucchi (CZA) in Milan and Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA).
Since 2010, he has been responsible for the Milan Vertical Forest project at Stefano Boeri Architects. He once taught at the Master of Architecture School of the Politecnico di Milano, and published many articles on urban updates in domestic and foreign magazines. Renovation and green building papers, translated and edited books in Italian, including the vertical forest monograph: a vertical Straight forest.And published on Ted the theme of “Vertical Forest" keynote speech, presented at the CTBUH Shanghai International Symposium and CTBUH Chicago Conference Speeches etc. Participated in many architectural exhibitions, including the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, Beijing Design Week, Shanghai 2015 Urban Space Season, Shanghai 2116 Plan, Shanghai 2017 Urban Space Mars Planting plan, etc. Served as the general coordinator of the Milan Triennale in China, the assistant curator of Susas in 2017, and the assistant curator of the opening exhibition of APSMUSEUM in 2021.
Currently, he is the Chinese partner/presiding architect of Stefano Boeri Architetti. introducing the Milan Vertical Forest concept Entering the country, he was responsible for the construction of Nanjing Jiangbei Vertical Forest and Huanggang Vertical Forest City Complex.Shanghai Bailian Yanqingli fashion center renovation, Shenzhen Barrier-Free Innovation and entrepreneurship Center, Lishui Forest City, Pudong Airport "Rain forest lounge", 501 Jiujiang Road renovation, MORE001 Green Office, etc.
