The Third Plenum is widely considered one of the most important events in China's political agenda and is usually focused on various aspects of policy reform for the country. From 15th to 18th July, China will hold the Third Plenum, setting a new economic blueprint for China, likely including financial reforms, private sector support, and the development of new productive forces in technology.
As part of its overall plan to promote high-level opening up, it is expected China will reiterate support for foreign businesses and pledges to further open up to foreign investment. What insights can be gained from the Third Plenum?
This event will discuss the implications for European businesses operating in China, highlighting market opportunities, potential risks and challenges and strategies to navigate the evolving landscape. Key topics will also include the future of China’s economic opening, geopolitical considerations, and the impact on specific sectors. The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to join the event on 7th August to delve deeper into China’s new economic blueprint for European investments following the Third Plenum.
