The European Chamber in South China Chapter will carry out DEI related courses, which include the DEI course on August 21st and the review course on September 18th. The following is the start time, location, price, specific syllabus and instructor introduction of the courses.
Objectives:
1) Establish why Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access are essential for organisations who want to recruit and keep talent going into the next decade.
2) Identify the gaps in understanding in an organisation that act as barriers to effective DEIA strategy.
3) Highlight Second Generation Bias and how to counter it with an effective inclusion and equity strategy aligned with the context of business in China
4) Introduce updated frameworks for addressing inequity and discrimination at work
5) Share diversity themes that are relevant in China and in Asia to help localize DEIA initiatives to companies outside of North American and Europe

Objectives:
1) Review the results of participants surveys and track the kinds of difficulties they may expect in creating a fully successful DEIA strategy.
2) Interpret Inclusive Leadership Behaviour Indicator results to evaluate possible gaps in how leaders act and how to support closing those gaps.
3) Introduce tactics to help mitigate bias and barriers to inclusion at the individual, team, and organisational level.
4) Create action plans with coaching follow up to make initial steps to improve inclusion and equity within the organisation.
