Past Meetings

Two batches of industry parks have been listed by MIIT as national green industry parks, and new complementary policies have been issued and implemented by various local government authorities. In 2017, the Green Development League of National Economic & Technological Development Zones (NETDZs) was established, consisting of 35 national economic & technological development zones across China. Such league as a platform aims to promote the national ecological development strategy, and the communication among all those 35 NETDZs on green, low-carbon and circular development, which shall further facilitate the technology innovation, industrial structure, and the green structural transformation course. To update the members on the green development at the level of national industry parks and upcoming opportunities for European business in China, the European Chamber is pleased to invite Mr. Geraint Feng, Deputy Head, Clean-tech Transfer Division of TEDA Eco Centre and Secretariat of the Green Development League of NETDZs, to introduce the League along with the League’s 2018 plan and opportunities for European business in China, followed by a roundtable discussion with members.
